Me and my brothers go to a place called virtual ventures

Dear Readers,

Me and my brothers go to this place called virtual ventures and it is this program we do with science and tech. There are two instructors that help us with the activities and with lots of other stuff. Today we made this volcano with diet coke and mentos. It only went as high as a little tree.

Cole and mentos explode because of the carbon dioxide in the coke and when the mentos touch the coke it just explodes for some reason.


We also did this thing were we had to use exactoknifes to cut the cardboard and it had to hold the weight of 150 pounds. My thing held about 107 pounds and I had the strongest structure out of all of the people that were there. Another person had about 52 pounds and it could hold about the size of a bag. That is what happened.

I got a A + in my french test

I had a big french test today I got a A+. It was pretty hard but I ended up figuring out what the questions were. It was kind of easy at the end of the test. It was all about social studies in french. It is hard. Social studies in french are very hard.

My teacher said"I did a very good job. It was cool. I was pretty happy. It was really hard. My teacher is pretty nice anyways. She is really nice.

Today I had a big test. It was going to be on my report card. It was very hard and I got a A +. Everyone else got a c or a b. I got the highest mark in my class. It was kind of easy and at the same time it was very hard. My teacher said"I did a very good job. It was a math test with all these questions. It was cool.

Today we had a party for my cousins moving away party. There was lots of people. There was a lot of kids at the party. It was very fun.

We our cleaning are house today. We are cleaning inside and outside. The girls are cleaning the garden and the guys are cleaning the house inside. My dad and my oldest brother are cleaning the basement and me and my other brother are cleaning upstairs. It is hard.

We finally got back home. We had to drive for about 15 hours. It was really long we made it it in 2 days. We stopped of at a Radison. It was in Pennsylvania. It was such a awesome hotel. You could control how soft and hard that you want your bed to be. My bed was very soft. I sank into my bed. It was so fun.

We left at 6:00 in the morning. we got home at 11:00 in the morning. The hotel was so cool it looekd like a castle. When we got home. I was so jumpy because i've been in so many hotels and condos. In liked the beach in Kitty Hawk. It was cool.

I'm at Kill Devil Hills NC

I am staying at a place called Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina. There is a very nice beach there. It is really nice. We might be going to a place called the pier. It is a place on the beach were you could go fishing in the deep sea. You catch sharks and all other type of fish at the pier. It is very high above the Deep sea ocean. It is about 900 feet high the water is about 5000 feet deep. Me and my family are going to the pier. It's going to be awesome. It's going to be awesome amazing. I got 100 dollars at the beach. We are not getting very hot weather

We are not getting very hot weather. It is summer and we are getting weather like it's spring. I can't believe next month is school starting. We have only had one month of summer vacation. I can't believe last month school ended and next month school is starting. Usually we start in September. But this year our principal said ''were starting in August.'' Our vice principal was leaving the school this year so I think that is why she said we have to start early this year. Our vice principal's name was D'arcine Thompson. Our principal's name is Cindy Simpson. She has been principal since 2001. We have a huge gym and we have pretty big classes. Our classes our 30 people each. We have about four thousand people in are school. It's a lot of people in our school. My techer's name was Mrs. LeBelle. She was a pretty nice teacher. I had a lot of people in my class. I couldn't remember the names of the people in my class. That was my school

I got $500 for a party

Dear Readers,

I got $500 at a party. I got $50 dollars from my uncle, $50 dollars from my grandmother a $100 dollar bill form my aunt. I got another 2 $100 bills from my dad and mom and that's how I got my $500 dollars. It was really fun. All the people in my family were there and 120 people were there. My favourite uncle came for the party too! He comes from the Spain. He taught me how to say hi in spanish. How to say hi in spanish. I kept saying ola to him. That was my $500 dollar party.

It was my Birthday!

Today I had my birthday. It was very fun. All of my friends and my uncles and aunts were here. We did a lot of things like playing soccer. My mom made really yummy cake. It wasn't just yummy it was yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy! The cake was awesome. That was one of the best cakes I had in my life.

I had about 40 people at my birthday. It was pretty awesome. It was awesome. My birthday went on till 9:00 pm. It started at 12:00 pm. I had my grandparents there too. I got 250 $ for my birhtdatyand it was awesome.

My parents were playing a board game called scrabble. My uncles and aunts were playing scrabble too. To play scrabble you need 8 people to play the game. That was my birthday.

Today when I came home from school it was very hot and even at school it was 26 degrees. It was 36 degrees when I came home from school. I had a very cold shower and went in a pool that was very cold. But that cooled me down.

After that I went to my back yard and went in my sprinkler and I sprayed the hose on jet on me. It was kind of fun and it defiantly cooled me down. It was awesome going in the sprinkler. Everyone in my school was probably wearing shorts and a t-shirt to school, because it was burning. My teacher was even wearing shorts.

I'm a lot of people in Ottawa were wearing shorts when they were going to somewhere in the day. Today I did lots of things to cool me down. Because I sprayed myself with the hose on jet, I went in a very cold pool, and I had a very cold shower. Today I did 3 things to cool me down., because it was pretty damn hot!

We are at my Grandmother's House

Today my brother went to soccer. So I only have 2 brothers right now, because one of them are at soccer.

My brother Josh is 13 and my other brother is Johnny is 1. My other brother James is the one at soccer. After I write on my blog I'm going to go to the basement and play soccer. It will be really fun.

I'm going to do the same thing that I did on my other post how me and my brothers were playing soccer. That is what I'm doing at my grandmother's house.

My dad was tired.

Today my dad came home from work and he was so tired from all his work and he ate his dinner and went to bed right away. He said to me that he went to Quebec City for his work and he actually works in Ottawa. So he was so tired of all that work. So I didn't ask him to play some soccer with me because he was so tired. I was sort of exhausted too. It was a tiring day.

It was Burning!

Today I wore shorts to school and a t-shirt. The sun was shining like crazy. Some people were even lying down places because of the sun. It was very hot and at the same time ti was kind of warm. My teacher thought it was cold because she didn't go outside to watch the people.

It was crazy. I wished I could take of my shirt but we were not aloud to do that. It was awesome playing soccer,football,basketball,and baseball. It would be nice if we would be able to go swimming. But it wasn't that hot.

Today the whole Ottawa catholic school board had a day off. It is pretty awesome! My dad took me to a place called Maxes Cally Roses. It is a pretty cool place. It was AWESOME!

Today it is so sunny. My dad thought it was cold. But it was really sunny. It was kind of fun. It's cool. It was pretty sunny. A person in my neighbourhood was wearing shorts and that's all.

My dad was playing soccer with me my brother James my brother Josh and my mom. My mom was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and so as me. It was really a sunny day!

I am almost finished my book James and the giant Peach

Today I read 5 chapters out of my book. It was pretty interesting. My mom read the book too, and she even thought it was interesting. It was pretty cool in the five chapters. It was about a grasshopper and a lady bug and a centipede and an earthworm and a glow worm and a little boy called James.


The story was about the little boy having two parents and living on the beach. While his parents were reading him something a rhino appeared out of nowhere. The rhino ate his parents. So James
went to his aunts house.

When he got there his aunts made him do tons of work. He almost had to do everything for his aunts. He only got one meal a day after his hard work, which was and octopus head. It is kind of gross. That's practically all I remember from my book.

It's snowy!

Today when I was at school it started to snow. It was crazy. Me and my friends were taking cover under a tree because at my school there's huge trees which are evergreen trees. They stay green all year.

My dad was soaked after he came home from his work. I asked him why he was soaking. My dad didn't even answer because he was so tired from running. So he went to his bed so he could sleep because he was so tired. So I ended up going to bed early too! That was a snowy day!

Since it's raining I don't really want to go biking because it's too cold and way t0 rainy. I wouldn't want to go biking because it's soaking and I'll get soaked.

I'm reading a book called James and the Giant peach

Today I got a book at the library. It is called James and the giant peach. It's a really nice book so far. I'm on chapter 33 already. It has 47 chapters. It's really interesting.





My mom said to get it because all of my brothers read the book not including my baby brother. I think at the end he's going to find his way out of the tunnel. I wonder what it's going to be!

None of my brothers would tell me what the story's about. I hope I have time to read it so it will be faster to get to the end. By the title it's kind of obvious that it's a fiction book because of the word giant peach. First of all there wouldn't be a giant peach. Second of all he wouldn't find any creatures that are way bigger than him in a tunnel. Third of all there would be a seed that could grow into a 50 foot giant peach.

Were going to have a thunderstorm tonight

Tonight were suppose to have at thunderstorm with snow and rain. It's going to be cool but scary. It's going to be with ice pellets and little droplets of hail. My dad is going to be coming home around 5:00 PM.





Today I had a quiz on math & science. It was pretty easy. All it was algebra. It was easy.

Today it was really hot. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. It was crazy. At my high school all the people wanted to take of there shirts. I took of my jacket,and all I wore was my t-shirt my shorts and my sneakers. And plus it's Canada and it's pretty hot here. It's awesome.

I'm in grade 8. I was wearing my shorts and my t-shirt at home. At school I wore my t-shirt and my sweater in the morning,because it was kind of cold,but it was cool in weather. My friends and me played a game called wall ball.

I played soccer as well as wall ball. And with my other friends played football with me.

Were going to Montreal for my Aunt's birthday

On Saturday I'm going to Montreal again because it's my aunt's birthday. It is going to be not that bad,probably. All I'm going to do is play with my cousins. I hope were going somewhere cool. It will probably be fun. I'm going to do a lot of things. I will use my dad's computer to update my blog.

Today I saw the Mississippi river when we passed over this massive bridge on the highway. Me and my family were really surprised. I thought the Mississippi river was a big lake we saw when we were on the highway on a little bridge. So then I saw this massive bridge and I said to everyone in my family that there is the Mississippi river. So it was awesome.

As you may heard on my other post that I'm going to Arkansas. Today was the big day. The most place we stayed in was Toronto. We went shopping there and bot all our materials that we needed. It was really awesome. Then we past through some towns and then finally we finnally past the border. So my uncle lives in Detroit so we stopped off for one day. It was really cool.

Tomorrow I'm going to be going to a place called Arkansas as you may have heard on my other post. My family and I are leaving around 9:00 am. We're going to my uncle Ronny's house. He's my mom's brother. Were going to be passing through a lot of states for example Kentucky and Ohio. It's going to take a long time to get there. It's so going to be really fun. It's going to be AWESOME!

Today I'm going to be at my grandma's house for about 2 hours. So me and my brothers pretend that were soccer players and play in my grandma's basement. She has a soccer net in her basement. So my brother James was Real Madrid and I was Manchester United and my other brother was Juventus I scored around 50 goals. My brother scored 75 goals and my brother Josh scored 390 goals. It's fun.

Buddy Day

Today and every Thursday we do this little thing called Buddy day. We just do little activities and some games. So today at Buddy day we did a little prayer about lent and Easter. So today my brother James wasn't here today because he was sick. He only had a cough and sneezes. This morning he was faking really badly. So today I woke up at 7:20 am. So now both of my brothers are sick and I hope my baby brother Johnny doesn't get sick. So I'm getting a little soar throat in my mouth. I am about to get a new watch at the Place D'orleans shopping mall. It's going to be fun getting my new watch.

We're Going To Arkansas

In almost about 2 weeks me and my family are going to a place called Arkansas. It's just above Texas. It's a 23 hour drive to get there. Many people in my class went to Mexico and Cuba. So I'm going to a place called Arkansas. Me and my family are really exited. We're going to have so much fun. We're passing through a state called Ohio. I don't no what it's going to be like. My guess is that it's going to get colder and colder and then we're going to pass Ohio. We probably aren't going to go to Texas because it's way to hot there and I don't even think my baby brother would even survive. My baby brother is only 1 and a half and I'm 13. I'm really exited it's going to be super cool. When I come back I'm going to tell my friends where I passed through and all the states I passed. I bet myself that it's going to be fun.

Mall Cop the movie

Dear Readers,

2 days ago my uncle took me and my brother James to a movie called Mall Cop. At the beginning it was super funny and in the middle it was starting to get a little not funny. We got the top seats where they projected the movie. At the end, the SWAT team leader tried to get the mall cop killed for his 30 million dollars that the mall cost. So the SWAT team leader ended up getting arrested. The closest guy in the SWAT team to the commander became the leader and all the SWAT guys moved one up as their new commander said. So the police asked the mall cop if he wanted to come back to the New Jersey police academy? So the mall cop said " no, I'll stay what I'm best at". And he got married to a girl that he liked.

And they lived happily ever after.

My Swimming Day

Toady my Dad was taking me to swimming class and my swimming class starts at 11:00. So when we were on Tenth Line street it was 10:59 and we never even got on the highway. I'm suppose to be in the pool at 11:00. So I missed my swimming class and we went back home.


At 3:00 pm uncle Sanjay came over to eat dinner with us because he wanted to eat before he goes back to Detroit because he has a long drive ahead of him. So when he was about to go I was in my bedroom and I heard my parents saying good bye to my uncle Sanjay and my aunt. So I jumped out of my bed and ran my fastest to the downstairs. All of my brothers ran to go say good bye except my baby brother because he was with my parents. I said to my uncle that it won't be long until we our going to see him in another 2 weeks.

Joey's winter carnival

Dear Readers,

Today our school celebrates a thing called WINTER CARNIVAL. Their are team leaders from 1
to 20. There are stations 1 to 10 in our school yard. People from our school from grade 4 to 6 get to be team leaders. The teachers just randomly pick the teams from 1 to 20. My team number was number 4. It wasn't bad. Some of the activities were really boarding and some were really fun. Station 10 was the best station because you get to have hot chocolate. The parent volunteers make the hot chocolate and put mostly water and then put some chocolate powder.


After winter carnival was over me and my freinds just read a book and played games together. We were kind of board so we just had to wait untill the school bell rings. So in about 20 minutes time the first bell rang to go home. So our teacher told us to get ready because evryone has to put on all their snowpants and coats. So we ready and I was really happy to go home because I had a long tiring day today. I didn't like winter carnival so much but the good thing was that we didn't have to study anything or have no homework. That was my winter carnival day.

Joey's school day

This is my second post that I'm publishing. My school day was very good today because we went to gym and computer lab. In our computer lab at our school we have a little lab where there are 25 computers. My computer number is number 13. All of our class has a number for our computers.My dad is a computer engineer. He's really good at computers.In gym we do this thnig called jump rope for heart. It's mostly skipping and basket ball games. After that we went back to class and did some work and had french and wait for the bell to ring.
That was my school day today.

Uncle Sanjay's in Ottawa

My Uncle is in town right now. His name is Sanjay. He is really nice.He came to Ottawa to visit our family. He stayed one day at my Grandma's house and he's going to stay one at mine. He likes visiting us and having fun with us.He's one of our nicest uncles. He came from Detroit. It's an 8 hour drive from Detroit to Ottawa. He takes us very fun places in our city.

I live in Ottawa. Ottawa's in Canada the second largest country in the world after Russia. I have a lot of family and freinds. They are nice to me too! I have about 89 people in my family.

I like having him in town. He takes us allot of places in our city. My uncle is 40 and he's the second oldest in his family. My Dad is the third youngest. My other uncle is the youngest and my aunty is the oldest.
